Myia Health: a remote-care platform built and run by our team.
From 2018 to 2023, before the US company existed, our team built the entire remote-care platform behind Myia Health. It reached 5,000 daily active patients, who came to it through health systems and care providers. Myia Health no longer operates.
What we built
The whole platform: backend, web applications, connections to consumer wearable devices, messaging, automation, analytics, machine-learning workflows, security, and disaster recovery. Our technical lead created the core system and led the development team.
Integration with health systems
- Myia Health successfully integrated with Epic through a health system, using FHIR.
- A deep integration with Redox connected the platform to health-system data.
- Patients came to the platform through health systems and care providers, which made integration and reliability part of the clinical workflow, not an add-on.
Security and compliance
The platform handled protected health information, and our engineers worked under business associate agreements. We built and ran the healthcare security and compliance controls, including disaster recovery.
What carries over to your product
- We have been on the vendor side of a health-system integration and its security review, end to end.
- We have run a patient-facing platform in production at the scale of thousands of daily patients.
- The same core team still works together today, now as Cyber Labs Solutions.
