About this policy
Cyber Labs Solutions, LLC develops Parlor Alibi, a spoken game for friends sharing one device. This page covers the game. The Cyber Labs Solutions website privacy policy covers this website separately.
Play data on your device
The game saves player names, settings, round history and the state needed to resume a round on your device. Private cards include a role and, where applicable, the secret word. The game does not upload player names, private cards or play history to Cyber Labs as part of play.
Parlor Alibi does not require an app account, show advertising or use your microphone. Clues, discussion and guesses are spoken by the people at the table. Saved play data and the separate purchase cache use encrypted local files with keys held through the device’s platform storage.
Purchases and verification
The planned release includes a free 30-round Starter Kit and an optional one-time Full Club purchase. Apple or Google handles store checkout. The app does not request or store your payment card or bank details.
Parlor Alibi’s native purchase verification uses the device’s store services and local checks. This purchase path does not send purchase proofs or an installation identifier to a Cyber Labs verification server. It is separate from the words, names and history used in your rounds.
Purchase checks can occur when the app starts, receives a store update or returns to the foreground, as well as when you buy or restore. The app keeps signed store evidence, pending purchase information and technical cache records in a separate encrypted local store. Previously verified evidence can support offline access, but it does not establish the latest store-account or refund status. Purchases and restores need an internet connection.
Apple App Store
The iOS purchase flow uses StoreKit to obtain verified transaction and current-access information from Apple’s store services. The app checks that information locally and retains verified transaction evidence separately from play history. An explicit restore request asks the App Store to synchronize purchase information. Apple processes its store records under Apple’s privacy policy.
Google Play
The Android app and Google Play process purchase history, including the product, purchase token and purchase status, to provide, recognize, restore and acknowledge Full Club access. The app retrieves current purchases through Google Play Billing and checks Google’s signature on the purchase information locally. Google maintains its store records under Google’s privacy policy.
Sharing a result
You can choose to open your device’s share sheet with a public result image. Player names and the answer are off by default; you can explicitly include them in the image. The destination you choose receives what you share and handles it under its own policies.
Local retention and deletion
Names and play history stay on the device until you clear them. In Settings, “Clear names and play history” ends the session and removes that local play data. Purchase ownership and its technical cache are kept separately.
Clearing play history does not refund a purchase, delete an app store’s transaction records or remove any separate backup copies. The app has no app account to delete. Use the relevant store’s controls or support for store-held purchase records.
Audience
Parlor Alibi is intended for people ages 13 and up and is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has sent personal information to Cyber Labs, contact us using the privacy email below.
Support messages and privacy questions
If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you include so we can respond. Please leave out passwords, payment card details and raw purchase tokens or transaction proofs.
Support-message retention and requests to access, correct or delete information held by Cyber Labs are covered by the company privacy policy. This is separate from local game records and information held by Apple or Google.
