Loafline app privacy

Updated November 1, 2026. This notice covers Loafline’s current pre-release design. We will reconcile it with the final distributed app and platform disclosures before release.

About this notice

Cyber Labs Solutions, LLC develops Loafline, a sourdough availability planner and local baking notebook. This page describes the current app design. It covers the app separately from the Cyber Labs Solutions website privacy policy, which describes this website’s analytics, service providers and contact handling.

Your local notebook

Loafline stores loaf records, availability and plans, observations, notes, personal formula versions, starter records, selected photos, settings and local access state on the device. The app does not require an account or upload the notebook to a Cyber Labs cloud-sync service.

The current app has no advertising, app analytics uploader or runtime AI service. Local storage does not mean that every platform or store interaction is offline. Purchase services and support messages are described below.

Device protection and operating-system backups

The iOS app applies native file protection to its local app data. That protection does not exclude the data from operating-system or iCloud backups. Those backups may include app data depending on your device and backup settings.

Device backups, restored devices and any copies you export have their own storage and deletion behavior. App cloud sync and an operating-system backup are separate features.

Photos you choose

You can choose photos from your photo library for a loaf record. The app creates a sanitized local image copy and does not upload it to Cyber Labs or analyze it for food safety. Selecting a photo does not delete or change your original photo-library item.

Reminders and device permissions

Optional reminders use local notifications and local time-zone information. Notification content may be visible on the lock screen according to your settings. You can manage notification permission in the device settings. The app can also temporarily keep the screen awake during an active task.

Exports, sharing and restore

When you choose to export or share a backup, it can include notebook records, notes and selected photos. Exported backups are unencrypted. Choose a destination you trust and protect the resulting file.

A destination you select, such as Files, a cloud drive or an email app, receives what you share and applies its own policies. Cyber Labs does not control that destination. The app validates supported backup files when restoring them; restore does not remove independent copies elsewhere.

Purchases and platform services

The planned native-store purchase flow uses Apple or Google’s store services and local verification. The app keeps local purchase/access state so it can recognize the relevant unlock. The planned initial US offer is five completed free bakes followed by a one-time unlock, with no subscription. No store purchase is available yet.

Apple App Store

The current iOS design uses StoreKit’s verified transaction and access information. An explicit restore can ask Apple to synchronize store purchase information. Apple processes its store records under Apple’s privacy policy. The app does not ask for your payment card or bank account details.

Google Play

The current Android design uses Google Play Billing and local signature checks. The app and Google Play can process purchase history, including product, purchase token and status, to recognize, restore and acknowledge access. Google handles its store records under Google’s privacy policy.

The current Android release configuration removes app-process internet and advertising-ID permissions. Google Play services can still handle purchase operations separately. This restriction is not a claim that no data is processed or shared. The final app and its store privacy disclosures will be checked before release.

Diagnostics and support

The current diagnostics feature lets you preview and explicitly export technical status information. It is not an automatic app telemetry upload and is designed to exclude notebook notes, photos and credentials.

If you email us, we receive your email address and what you choose to include so we can respond. Do not send passwords, payment details or raw purchase tokens. Requests about support-message data held by Cyber Labs can be sent to ani.rafyan@cyberlabs.solutions; the company privacy policy explains your choices.

Retention and deletion

Notebook records and app-owned photos stay in local app storage until they are changed or deleted. Erasing local records removes those records and photos while purchase access and the consumed free-bake allowance remain separate. Manage local records through the app and device controls. Uninstalling the app or deleting a local record does not delete files you exported, copies held by other apps, operating-system backups or store transaction records.

There is no Loafline app account to delete. Use Apple or Google’s controls for store-held records and the relevant backup or destination controls for separate copies.

Audience and changes

Loafline is designed for home bakers working with real kitchen equipment. Final store age and audience declarations will match the release app. If a child has sent personal information to Cyber Labs through support, contact us at the privacy email above.

We will update this notice if the app’s data practices change. The final release and platform disclosures will be checked against the behavior described here.
